Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16G. The end is Nigh!!!

So I think I'm ready to stick a fork in this army. If I do a revisit I may add another horde of Shooters but apart from that I think I have enough stuff covered to give me a playable list.

I counted up all the bits and I have about 3500 points with no magic items. Not a bad start and about what I had with the other system that shall not be named.

At some point I will do a Video Army showcase to show all the guys.

Anyway here are some pics. They are a bit washed out as I am still getting use to the camera I have at home. I think its the lighting personally.

penitent Gobbos Carry a long dead hero to war. This is my other unit od Siege breakers.

Eddie suggested using this guy, a BSB on Chariot with Ensorcelled armour.
At first I was like Pffft, but it survived 3 rounds of attacks from Badger riders and a badger Hero
 in two separate games. And at 140 points he is a cheap inspiration. 

Red Goblin Scouts. The toy Ponies are really fast.

King Steven. King of all the red goblins. (In his mind anyway)

Next up will be my Gobbo Army. Tabled Eddie twice but Kort Tabled me so they can be beaten.

Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16F Fire Support part 3. Ready Aim Fire!

So paint job is done for both these units. They aren't stuck on the bases yet as I need to transport them home and I will do some snow on the bases as well but here's a progress shot.

I want to put a red gobo with a keg on this base to signify the brew of Keen Eyedness.
Also there should be a chain or rope between the stakes which I need to do yet.

The Gobbo that goes with this is painted I just forgot to add him when I took the pic.

Let me know what you think. I will be doing an army review as I think this army is done for now.

Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16F Fire Support part 2. here comes the Boom

Boomers and done. Some of the green stuff looks a little rough now that I have under coated them but I'm still pretty happy with how they turned out. Here's some pics, you be the judge.

There are some leaking barrels at the back of the base with flammable stuff leaking out. It doesn't really show up in this pic.

Can you guess where the inspiration came for this guy.

GW ogres really aren't built for doing different posses.

This one is supposed to be leaning over for a big spurt.



They are undercoated now so paint should be applied tonite and more pics to follow.

Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16F Fire Support part 1.

Still here slowly plugging away at my ogres. I have the Siege breaker horde 2 troops of red Gobbo scouts and a Horde of red goblins rebased. My Lord is done except for the head piece. I couldn't find anything I liked so I ordered some stuff from Horde o' bits. Not sure how long it will take for the bits to get to Oz.

Anyway here a few progress shots of the Shooter horde and a Regiment of Boomers. You warmachine players might guess where I got the idea from.

They are going to look like Jesters. I hope they turn out OK cause its not easy doing all the bits

Had a Warmachine tourney this month. Only 5 Players Turned up but it was still fun. I took the first Bye and ended up coming second by winning 1 game so that was fun. I think only Eddie and myself played KOW this month and as usual only Jay and Ado are playing X-Wing but we will have an X-Wing tourney in June so hopefully it will shake the table up a bit.

Aris is the new King of War as Kort didn’t log any games for this month. But for the sake of fairness we will have 2 kings this month.

Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16E King Wretched the Lion Eater.

Not sold on the colour scheme and the heraldry is a bit Meh! but its done for now with a few minor things to redo.




The sword is supposed to be purple. Funny what the camera sees.

There is a shield but it blocks too much of the
 mini so I may attach it to the saddle somehow

I removed the Dragon helm Crest and will replace it with a lion Crest when I find or make one.

I have more done so as soon as I get a few pics I like I'll post them.

Ogrebanes Omnium Gatherum: Part 16D New Bases for some old and new friends.

Updates for the Siege Breakers plus a few other units I'm rebasing

These guys were my scrap launchers. As per the story behind the army they are scrounged
Betonnian bits. A few war horses and a trebuchet strapped to a sleigh.

Both these units used to be one unit called the toy Knights. They are now standing in for two units of red Goblin Scouts.

More to come. I still need to flock and put snow on the bases. I have played a few games with the army and I still need to iron out the Army, but I have a ton of ogres so I'm not spoiled for choice. Feel free to drop  a comment or critisism.
